What This Is

Is this the test makers’ official practice?
No, and it is worth being plain about it. ETS publishes its own preparation materials for the GRE®, and GMAC publishes its own for the GMAT® — go and use them, they are written by the people who write the exam. Find them at ets.org and mba.com. This is an independent adaptive course built to the makers’ published specifications. Neither organization is affiliated with it and neither endorses it.
Does AccelaStudy AI Test Prep include the GRE?
Not any more. Until September 14, 2026 one Test Prep subscription covered five exams; the two graduate admissions tests are now their own product, which is this one. Test Prep is the SAT®, the ACT® and the PSAT/NMSQT®. Grad School is the GRE and the GMAT. Same price either way, and the same engine underneath.
Is the Executive Assessment included?
No. The Executive Assessment is a separate GMAC exam for experienced candidates applying to executive programs, and we do not prepare it — not in this product and not in any other. If the EA is the test your program asks for, this subscription is not the thing to buy.
Which exams does this actually cover?
The GRE General Test and the GMAT Focus Edition, from launch. Within those, the courses ready for launch are GRE Quantitative Reasoning, GRE Verbal Reasoning, and GMAT Data Insights. GRE Analytical Writing, GMAT Quantitative Reasoning and GMAT Verbal Reasoning are built and waiting on review; they appear in the catalog the day they open, and we would rather show you that gap than round it away.
Do you cover the GRE Subject Tests?
No. The General Test only. The Subject Tests are separate exams with their own content and nothing here prepares them.

Format and scoring

The Exams

Is this the shortened GRE?
Yes — the roughly two-hour General Test, with 27 scored Verbal questions, 27 scored Quantitative questions and a single Analyze an Issue writing task. The second writing task and the unscored research section are gone. Preparation material describing a nearly four-hour test is out of date, and so is its pacing advice.
Is this the GMAT Focus Edition?
Yes, and it is the only GMAT now offered — GMAC retired the previous form on January 31, 2024. Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Data Insights, each 45 minutes, each scored 60 to 90, combining into a 205 to 805 total. The analytical writing assessment, sentence correction and geometry are not on it, and data sufficiency lives inside Data Insights.
Does the practice match the real test format?
Section counts, time limits, question types and scoring rules follow each maker’s current published specifications. Adaptivity is coming soon: once it arrives, where the exam adapts, the practice adapts the same way, the GRE at the section level and the GMAT item by item within a section.
Does either test have a passing score?
No. Neither is pass or fail, so nothing in this product reports a pass or fail verdict. Once score projection arrives, what you get is a projected score per section on the maker’s own scale, with a confidence band, labeled as a practice estimate wherever it appears. It is a model of the scale, never an official score and never an equating.
How accurate is the score projection?
Score projection is coming soon. It will come from your measured proficiency across every tracked skill, calibrated against published exam scoring distributions, and will carry a confidence band rather than a single number. The band narrows as you complete more practice. It estimates a practice result. It is not a promise about your test day, and nobody honest can give you one of those.
Can I use a calculator?
The GRE provides an on-screen calculator for the Quantitative sections. The GMAT Focus Edition provides one in Data Insights and not in Quantitative Reasoning. Practice here treats reaching for it as a timing decision rather than a free action, because on both tests it is one.

How it works in a real week

Studying

How many practice tests do I get?
There is no fixed number, because there is no fixed bank. Sections are composed per attempt from the blueprint and adapt within the subject, so you can take as many full-length rehearsals as your schedule allows and no two are the same. That is also why there is nothing here to memorize your way through.
Are the questions real exam questions?
No, and they could not be. Live and retired exam items belong to the makers. Every question here is synthesized against the published blueprint for its skill and its item type, which is what lets there be an unlimited supply of them rather than a bank of a few hundred.
What if I only have a few weeks?
Then the adaptive part is doing the most work for you: it spends your hours on the skills actually costing you points and skips what you have already shown. Autopilot plans backwards from the date you booked and rebuilds the plan when a week disappears, which on a working candidate’s schedule it will.
I am studying while working full time. Does that break it?
No — it is the case it was designed around. The plan assumes interruption rather than an idealized study calendar, and picks up from where your knowledge map actually is rather than from where the calendar says you should be.
Does work on one test carry to the other?
Yes. The engine tracks the skill rather than the test, so quantitative and reading ground proven on the GRE is credited on the GMAT and the reverse. What does not transfer is the pacing: the two exams route differently and each one’s clock has to be practiced on its own terms.
Do you offer tutoring, essay review, or application help?
No to all three. This is a study product. It does not review your essays, read your application, or advise you on where to apply or whether to submit a score.

The boring, important part

Billing and Logistics

What does the subscription cost?
$89/mo, or $71/mo on the annual plan — $852 billed once, saving $216. Both tests are included either way. There is no per-test unlock, no premium tier and no add-on.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. When AccelaStudy AI Grad School launches, every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Credit card required to start. Your card is charged your plan's price when the trial ends unless you cancel first. No minimum commitment after that, either: subscribe for the months your application window actually needs and cancel when you are done. On a test people often take twice, paying monthly is usually the cheaper shape.
What happens if I cancel and come back?
Your knowledge map, progress, score projections and readiness data are preserved. Resubscribe and pick up where you left off, with no penalty for the gap.
Do you handle registration, rescheduling, or accommodations?
No. All of that runs through the maker — ETS for the GRE, GMAC for the GMAT — including score reporting and the choice between a test center and at-home delivery. We prepare you for the exam; they administer it.
Do you sell seats to a university or a program?
Not today. This product launches as an individual subscription with no seat stream. If that changes it will be announced here rather than quietly priced.
Does it work on a tablet?
Yes, in the browser, in light mode and dark mode. There is nothing to install.

One thing we will not do, in any answer on this page. Tell you which test to take, what score a program wants, or whether to submit one. Those are decisions for you and for the programs on your list, and a company selling both tests is the wrong source for any of them. The published facts are laid out side by side so you can decide with them.

$89/mo covers the GRE and the GMAT together, with every practice section generated fresh.
